Everyone knows that the most magical place on earth is Disney World.  There is nothing more amazing that watching your children be delighted in all that they can see and do there.  There is something quite special about a Disney vacation.  For the parents who want to make it even more magical trip, you may be wondering how one can even achieve that.  But you can!  Here are our tips on making your next Disney vacation even more magical.

It’s all about the anticipation.  The build up to your Disney vacation can almost be just as exciting as actually going to Disney World.  Have a countdown paper chain displayed.  There are many fantastic tutorials on how to personalize your paper chain based on your favorite Disney character.  Each day you get closer, you can remove a chain.

Matching Family Shirts.  As cheesy as this may seem to some, there are a couple of good reasons why having matching shirts for your family is a great idea.  For one, families or groups who have matching shirts and are really embracing the Disney spirit generally get picked to participate most often in fun shows and events.  Be prepared to receive some special treatment for the Disney cast.  Another great reason is if you have a large group, especially one with many little ones, it’s easier to keep track of everyone.   Pick brightly color shirts so it’s easy to pick out in a large crowds.

Plan far in advance.  Did you know that to really take advantage of all that Disney has to offer, booking and planning far in advance is a must.  Reservations and Fast Passes book up pretty quickly for the most popular events and shows.  To make sure that you and your family do everything they would like to do, make sure you book at least half a year in advance.  Be prepared to starting making your selections at midnight when your turn first opens!

Buy souvenirs in advance.  Looking to make your trip more magical and save some money at the same time?  For some Disney magic every morning, shop for souvenirs at home before you go on your trip.  Bring them with you on your trip and give your kids an extra special treat every morning before they make their way into the park.  Disney items are considerably cheaper when they are not purchased in the park.  This is fun for the kids because they get excited to open a present every morning making them less apt to ask for an expensive souvenir in the park and they still feel like they have something to hold to bring back some of the Disney magic with them.

While Disney is the happiest place on earth, remember that there is going to be times that your kids are going to be fussy or have a full on meltdown.  Try not to pack so many things in one day and leave some extra time for relaxing.  You don’t have to do everything while you’re down there.  And that is a perfect reason to plan another trip to go back again!
